Bridge between Society & Prisons
During its conception, Tinka Tinka was envisioned as a movement that would act as a bridge between the prisons, judiciary and society. Since the completion of its first project – Tinka Tinka Tihar – in 2013, the movement has crossed many milestones and has made a significant impact in the field of prison reforms. Crime and punishment are not concerns at the focal point of Tinka’s approach because Tinka invests itself in contemplating ways of treating inmates as human resources so that they, too, can be involved in the process of nation-building.
