” ~ News18
As a young citizen of this country, wanting to do something for the society and looking for a better tomorrow, this initiative ensures that there can be a change if we all work towards it. It has potential of the nth order to inspire all the fellow citizens.
Along with inspiring the people who are outside, it has given the inmates a new ray of hope and a new source of communication, which helps them fight with their loneliness and depression. It has given them a medium to express their feelings and to explore their talents. There have been several cases when convicts have returned to the dark world even after completing their terms. This would definitely encourage them to being better human beings rather than torturing them to be. Giving such platforms is the need of the hour to reduce the crimes and making the world a better place.
At a time when Coronavirus has stunned the entire world, the Indian authorities and jails have been exceptional. There are some significant steps taken over the past few weeks. From raising awareness to making essential equipments, the contributions of inmates has been outstanding. The prisons are truly reforming.
