  1. The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more. Inmates exhibiting profound creative talents and administrators doing extraordinary work in prisons have been awarded with Special Awards by Tinka Tinka. These are national awards and the first of its kind recognising the good work done by both jail staff and inmates.
I believe nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm and appreciation and this commendable initiative taken by Dr.VartikaNanda to encourage inmates to exhibit their creativity, highlighting the issues of jail reforms and human rights, signifies her great contribution to the reformation of Jails in India.
Her efforts to recognise and appreciate these prisoners are admirable and praiseworthy.

  2. Positive reinforcement and human warmth have always been the best solutions for any problem, and after learning the story of the books Madhya Pradesh and Dasna, I’m heartbroken for the prison system of this country.
Tinka Tinka Awards is a commendable effort put forward, and I hope to see worldwide participation and paradigm shifting revolutions starting off to change our embarrassment of a prison system.

  3. We always want to get recognized for our hard work and determination. But we never thought of awarding and motivating inmates for their skills. Tinka Tinka India Awards is really doing an excellent job by awarding and encouraging inmates to improve and work more on their skills. With this award, the organization has really justified its tagline creating rainbows in prisons. By acknowledging the skills of inmates the organization is really motivating and filling hopes in the hearts of the inmates. They all are being awarded I different categories like painting, writing, and more. Not only inmates but the prison authorities are getting recognized for their efforts. This was a dream for everyone to think of this kind of award ceremony but the efforts made by Dr. Vartka Nanda turned this into reality.

Not only India we need programs like this but we need this kind of encouragement program across the globe. I would like to thank Vartika ma’am for Tinka Tinka India Awards.

  5. “The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more” – Jonas Salk
It is rightly said that rewards are the prime source of motivation, no matter how small the award is, it definitely brings utmost positivity and motivation in the person.
Dr. Vartika Nanda ma’am has done an exceptional job by not only working in welfare of the inmates but by also rewarding them for the exhibiting their creative skills and talent in various fields.
Jail staff and the inmates have got the opportunity to discover the lost talent in them and showcase their skills.
This recognition definitely is a powerful step towards a bright future and positive behavioural change of the people inside the prison.
Way to go Tinka Tinka movement!

  10. This year’s theme for the TTIA was very apt. It is amazing that even during the pandemic, Dr.Vartika Nanda was persevering and organized such a well thought out award. No media attention was paid to the prison administration during this time, but as always she brought this to our attention. It is essential to reward both the inmates and the prison staff for their cooperation and efforts during this challenging time. #tinkatinka #tiinkamodelofprisonreforms #awards
