Five inmates, Kulmeet Kumar, Chintoo, Bijender Singh, Sanjay Kumar, and Neeraj Tyagi came together to create a beautiful symphony, “HAR HAAL RAHO KHUSHHAAL Adding another milestone to its musical journey, Tinka Tinka Foundation (TTF) in collaboration with District Jail, Sonipat (HARYANA) and District Jail, Dehradun (UTTARAKHAND) has released music on prison radio.

Today, Tinka Tinka Jail Radio is presenting its 72nd episode. Dr. Suchit Narang, Rohit Verma and Arun and three other inmates namely, Joginder Verma, Vinod Thapa and Sudhir Tiwari, incarcerated in District Jail, Dehradun have lent their voices to this episode of the podcast.

After a gap of 10 years, Tinka Tinka Tihar is republished by Tinka Tinka Foundation, showcasing the literary acumen of women inmates lodged in jail number 6 of Tihar. Tinka Tinka Tihar is a long journey comprising of a book, theme song and a long wall painting on the outer walls of jails.

Music from Central Jail Bilaspur Chhattisgarh

Shyam Bai, a woman inmate who spent 20 years in jail, has something to look forward to in her life beyond the walls. Tinka Tinka Foundation Tinka Tinka Foundation Website has released a song, for the world to bear witness to this dedication to women in prison. Shyam Bai was released from prison at the age of 60 in September 2023. The happiness derived from her release is enhanced with the launch of her song. This song is a culmination of the unflinching strength and spirit she possessed, even within the confines of the jail barrack.

On the occasion of Haryana Day and Madhya Pradesh Day, Tinka Tinka Foundation presents a special episode on its journey. Tinka Tinka Madhya Pradesh is a coffee table book on jails published in 2018. k.

Dreams that are made true behind prison bars -Jai Bhagwan, an inmate incarcerated in District Jail, Jind, was a singer before his imprisonment. His long-held dream of releasing his own audio album has become a reality during his time in prison. Tinka Tinka Foundation, a public charitable trust dedicated to prison reforms, has released a song written by him.

A visually impaired inmate, an inmate on death row and two women have been recognised for their exceptional contributions to the prison environment this year by Tinka Tinka Foundation.

This year Tinka Tinka Foundation has broadcast 24 jail radio podcasts, released 4 musical innovations, represented Indian Jail Radio at the international conference in Barcelona, Spain, published second edition of Tinka Tinka Tihar on its completion of 10 years and formalised signature tune of Tinka Tinka Jail Radio.

16 January, 2024: Panipat Jail Radio completes 3 years: Jail Radio is positively impacting inmates: A revolutionary movement in Indian Jails by Tinka Tinka Foundation:Haryana’s first prison radio completed three years of its transmission on 16th January, 2024. This radio is now an integral part of the jail. With a broadcast for three hours every day, prison radio programs are eagerly awaited by inmates.
