Inmates of Sabarmati Central Jail, Gujarat are contributing their bit to save people from COVID-19. They are making masks and PPE kits. Each kit would cost around ₹180–₹200 and will be sold at a designated store near the RTO office. They have set a target of manufacturing 50 kits every day.

This has to be on the news as these inmates are trying to help other people where some don’t even care about others and spreading hate without a reason. Tinka tinka is working for inmates like these who want to do better in their life. Vartika Nanda is really a bridge between these two diverse worlds. I hope this new work will some hope to inmates.

We as a society should recognize the work done by prisoners during COVID 19 epidemic. They have helped the nation by manufacturing masks, PPE kits, hand sanitizers, etc. They have also made some great sacrifices, some were unable to go on parole while others were unable to have visitors.
