Today, we are presenting a brief human interest narrative on those who are released from the jail and what experiences they go through. The narrative presented here is done by Vartika Nanda from her much-acclaimed book, Tinka Tinka Dasna.

When someone goes into jail people just starting judging and give them label they are never going to change but it’s not the case with most of it. While all prisoners must learn to cope with the ‘pains of imprisonment’, the impact of imprisonment on the wrongly convicted appears to have effects that go beyond those experienced by other long-term prisoners. These individuals are victims of miscarriages of justice, and the harmful effects of confinement are further exacerbated by the unjust nature of their incarceration.
