Very thought provoking… Keep up the good work!!! #tinkatinka #vartikananda #jail
The contributions made by inmates hasn’t really grabbed the limelight, most of us aren’t even aware that the masks the police officers and other government officials are wearing most of it has been made by inmates. We aren’t aware that inmates are donating food and all the money they earned in the prison. The stories that I have seen on the channel began with covering jails in Rajasthan, then it covered the Agra Central Jail, jail in Madhya Pradesh, Montage, then it progressed to report about the four jails of Mau, Hamirpur, Meerut and Pilibhit it then covered the jail of Haldwani, Uttarakhand, the jail in Maharashtra, the jail in Chandigarh, Sonbhadra jail, jail in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, Telangana, Kerala and the latest news was centred around jails in West Bengal. Strangely, all these prisons that are engaged in making masks and sanitisers, for themselves, for the government and private authorities, haven’t been appreciated enough by most of the media houses. The role of media is crucial, it happens to be the forth pillar of a democracy, it is responsible for spreading awareness among the general public. They ought to report news that may help the society progress, they ought to appreciate worthy enough individuals irrespective of where they come from. They can facilitate in bridging the gap between the society and prisons. But alas! All they seem to care about is their TRP gains. #vartikananda #tinkatinka #jail #prison
Such deep thoughts represented by Vartika Nanda so beautifully. As the sun rises every morning, there is hope, there is a light in every dark mind. Inmates from different jails are sewing masks for people helping others. There is tinka tinka hope in every inmate’s heart that everything will change. These words were very strong but crafted to portray the life of inmates.

In this difficult time, where everyone is struggling for life, our inmates have not only encouraged us by their performance but also helped us a lot by making masks, sanitizers and PPE kits. We am thankful to them all.
In the midst of this epidemic, these small efforts have not only encouraged us but also boosted our confidence. We wholeheartedly thank all these inmates. We pray that this difficult time passed as soon as possible and that the lives of these prisoners also change. We are thankful The Tinka Tinka Foundation, who made such good efforts to improve the life of these detainees, the Tinka Tinka daily jail news connect us from them. Today all the inmates are able to know the things that have been taken out. They also know what is happening in outside life. Dr. Vartika Nanda’s diligence towards prison reform changed perspective of society. Words are not enough to praise these efforts. I salute you ma’am.
