Sub jail Haldwani, Uttarakhand are now having 1,120 inmates. Proper precaution steps are taken by them, main door have the facility of soap, sanitizer as well the guards and wroker have provided face shields and gown. Due to the establishment of sewing machines by a NGO some inmates are preparing masks for the prisoner and other staff. Inmates have also donated an amount of 52,500 from their saving to PRADHAN MANTRI RAHAT KOSH.Due to the lockdown, inmates of the jail are banned from meeting. However, the jail administration is talking to a relative or friend through video conferencing and also provided a facility of radio.
