अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगीत दिवस के मौके पर जेल में संगीत और तिहाड़ जेल में तिनका तिनका प्रयोग। यह दुनिया का अपनी तरह का पहला प्रयोग था जिसे तिनका तिनका की संस्थापक वर्तिका नन्दा ने किया था। तिहाड़ से शुरु हई संगीत की यह यात्रा तिनका की सांसों में बस गई है। तिहाड़ के यह प्रयोग दो बार लिम्का बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्डंस में शामिल हुए।
The World Music Day is celebrated every year on June 21 in over 120 countries including its country of origin France where it is known as ‘Fête de la Musique’ meaning “festival of music” to honor both amateur and professional musicians. Tinka Tinka Foundation is celebrating this day with inmates to promote and spread goodwill through music. Plus Vartika Nanda has written Tinka Tinka Tihar book which is poetry and all the books and creative pursuits of Tinka point towards the softer side of prisons. Tihar brought poetry as Tinka Tinka Dasna is a live narration on jail life and Madhya Pradesh is a comparison of Indian jails with colors and real-life images. World Music Day is celebrated in Argentina, Australia, Britain, Luxemburg, Germany, Switzerland, Costa Rica, China, India, Lebanon, and several other countries. And Vartika Nanda is supporting this International Music Day and celebrating it with inmates and giving them chance to enjoy and reform their life.

Music in Jail on the occasion of International Music Day and Tinka Tinka in Tihar Jail. This was the first experiment of its kind in the world which was done by Vartika Nanda, the founder of Tinka Tinka. This journey of music started from Tihar has settled in Tinka’s breath.
On the occasion of World Music Day, Vartika Nanda ma’am initiate an activity related to music to emphasise the need of music in ones life . When there was a lot of talk about music outside the prison; nobody noticed that music gives comfort to the people inside the prison and also the power to change life. Studies have shown that music can buoy our mood and fend off depression and anxiety. It can also improve blood flow, create happiness and relaxation in everyday life and improve sleep quality.
This experiment of Tihar was included in the Limca Book of Records twice.
