  1. The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual’s mind, body, and soul. It brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind; it helps manage stress and anxiety and keeps you relaxing. It also helps in increasing flexibility, muscle strength, and body tone. Jails are aware of this beautiful art is really good to hear. 3. The word ‘Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit root Yuj meaning “to join together”. So basically the yoga is the union of mind, body and soul. Yoga is consistently becoming more and more popular all over the world. Most of tge jails have yoga as daily routine as it helps to refresh your mind and offers a level of calm, increasing your attention on the matter at hand and increases concentration power. The health benefits of yoga are tremendously better. Not only on just the physical level but also on the level of one’s mind and energies.
