विश्व योग दिवस पर आज देश की गई जेलों में योग मनाया गया। इऩमें जिला कारागार, पीलीभीत भी शामिल है। इस बार थीम था- योग फ्रॉम होम। 1887में ब्रिटिश शासन मे बने जिला कारागार, पीलीभीत के जेल अधीक्षक हैं- श्री अनूप मानव शास्त्री और डिप्टी जेलर हैं- श्री विक्रम सिंह यादव।
The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual’s mind, body, and soul. It brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind; it helps manage stress and anxiety and keeps you relaxing. Most of tge jails have yoga as daily routine as it helps to refresh your mind and offers a level of calm, increasing your attention on the matter at hand and increases concentration power. The health benefits of yoga are tremendously better. Not only on just the physical level but also on the level of one’s mind and energies.
